Our School

Cameron Middle School is located in the heart of a neighborhood that is rich in history and tradition. The school is in walking distance of Riverfront Park, the historic districts of Second Avenue and Trimble Bottom, Fort Nashboro, Nashville Academy Theatre, Adventure Science Center and the State Capitol. These attractions allow our students to enjoy a wealth of enrichment opportunities.

In 1978, Cameron became Nashville's pilot middle school designed to meet the unique needs of adolescents in grades 5-8. Today, we continue to provide a wide range of instructional and academic programs to meet the needs of our students. Through its diverse cultural population, Cameron offers the opportunity for children from different nationalities and backgrounds to work together and appreciate the contributions that each group has to offer.
